Blue Team Coach 2013 - 2014 Season

We are looking to add to our coaching staff for the 2013 - 2014 season!! Over the years we have formed a successful program and we are looking for a coach that can seamlessly fit into and continue to assist the program that is currently in place. The new coach will be responsible for JV team practices, and all home/away basketball games. Practices are held 1 - 3 days a week from March - February. This is a volunteer position with potential to earn a stipend in future seasons. Looking for a coach with high school or college cheer experience and knowledge of the sport. Should know how to teach basics correctly and follow progressions. You will be expected to know and follow all NFHS and ACCAA rules. Drug test and full background check will be performed prior to hiring.

Coaching Duties & Expectations: 

• Attend summer camp with the team
  
• Create a practice schedule
• Conduct weekday practices at WWMS. 
  
• Attend all home and away basketball games
  
• Ability to work with and effectively lead young teens. 
  
• Show professionalism at all times and be a good role model for the cheerleaders
  
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude
  
• Effectively communicate with parents and other coaches
  
• Support and promote the mission and rules of the program. 
  
• Perform other related duties as assigned
